This is our journal as we go through the 49 days (step-by-step) from decision to in-vitro fertilization. Scheduling, details, feelings, thoughts; all are recorded here. It is an amazing process, and we felt it vital to chronicle it.

Transfer Tomorrow!

I know we've posted nearly every day for the past week. However, I thought I would drop a quick note to let our readers know what to expect for the upcoming days.

In approximately seventeen hours, we will be at the clinic to have the embryo transfer procedure be performed. It is scheduled at 1:45 PM for those wanting the details. This time they are doing an ultrasound while transferring the embryo(s) to ensure of a more accurate placement.

Of course once this is over and Kristina is home resting, I will update the blog to let everyone know how many we transferred, the grading and any other relevant details. After that however, there is not much to say for a while. It is quite likely that we will be silent for days. It will be roughly two weeks before we know anything, and there will be several confirmations that have to be made - even on positive test results.

If anything significant happens before then or some interesting random thoughts need to be shared, trust that we'll do that. But other than that, please don't expect much from us after tomorrow's report.

Thanks again for all the support. We are excited, slightly anxious even, but realistically reserved. Extra prayers and happy thoughts are appreciated.
