So, we joke that we do everything twice. We got engaged twice. I bought the ring twice. We set the same day twice. We went through in-vitro twice.
Today, however, we got the next installment of our events in pairs. When going to the 6-week ultrasound appointment, we were shocked when the doctor told us there were two embryonic sacs in Kristina's womb.
We had to question if he was joking because all the HCG numbers had indicated that it would likely be only a single embryo. However, the clinic technicians did tell us the math was not a perfect indicator, and we could not know for certain until today.
Well, today it's certain. The images were clear, and we heard the hearts of each one beating. Truly amazing!
What's next? Well, some financial analysis and a bit of nesting rearrangement. Oh, and shopping for specialty items.
